The Step is a cafe, bar and gallery located on Myddleton Road, London, an Edwardian shopping street in the Bowes Park conservation area. The Step brings back the excitement and glamour from the street’s heyday with furniture and crockery from the 1930s or before.
Their shops sell gorgeous gifts in our gallery, including cards, jewellery and prints, handmade by the best local designer-makers and if you are in need of a pep in your step, you can always nibble on a bag of our traditional sweets and sugar filled goodies.
Husband and wife, Mat & Nell, opened The
Step in February 2012 to support the community by kick starting the
commercial regeneration of Myddleton Road and providing a welcoming
place for locals and visitors to meet and connect.
