Newspaper Feature for Arches Studios

The Southern Daily Echo Newspaper wrote a wonderful article on the Arches Studio back in August 2011, and I am just gettinga round to scanning it and posting it up on my blog!

A few of us 'Arches Residents', including little ol' moi were interviewed; it was a fun expereice chatting to Sally the reporter and posing for photos; I even managed not to look too confused in the phorograph!

If you would like to read the article, you can read the pdf over on my site here ... Enjoy!

As always, I'd love to hear to comments :o)

Many hands make light work...

It was a busy ol' week last week in Little Red HQ... Many wholesale orders to finish and get out the door (not to mention my birthday too!). So it was a real pleasure & a big help to have a Work Experience Student, Sophie, in helping complete Little Red Design orders.

She was fantastic; always a joy to have in my cramped studio. I can now say that she is officially qualified to use my heat press unsupervised!!! She didn't even have one burn in the end which is amazing as I usually average at least 2 a day :o(

*Well Done Sophie*

At the Studio

I thought you would like to see some images of me at work at the Little Red studio...
Busy, busy and lots of concentration as i work my magic!

Sewing on my trusty Janome...

Images of inspiration and prototype bags hang on the wall.

As you can see it is all a bit frantic; but from the chaos beautiful accessories are made.
